All users of the outdoors and wilderness areas should be aware of the needs, problems, and situuations that confront all users. The sites listed may or may not provide useful information for what you want, but they may lead you to additonal sites that will be of help.
These listings are for your information and insight. Neither are they in a particualr order. They don't necessarily mean we endorse them or any position they take. Llama packers are generally aware of conservation needs and want to be informed and involved in protecting the backcountry which we love so much. these are some of the Web sites that can provide some useful information.
Click on the Preserve wilderness button to the left and go to the Ecology Fund site. I have it's bookmark convenient and try to to there a couple times a week. Sponsors of the page page a small amount to buy up wilderness and wild land each time someone clicks on their site from Ecology Fund. It is a gimmick to generate visitors. You do not have to buy anything to earn money for the purchase of valuable land. Do yourself and the land a good deed and become a regular. Spread the word to others.
Check articles on a variety of subjects.
We welcome your comments about the above sites and recommendations of additional conservation and environmental sites that may be of interest and value for llama packers to check out.
