Llama packers alert!

GET INVOLVED

We need to be active participants in the land we love and use. The backcountry trails, wilderness areas, and other places we like to use are not there by accident. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to obtain their existence. We owe them much.

Get involved and volunteer to help maintain trails and support those who are also working on such projects.

We llamapackers need to be active to help obtain and keep protection of a number of issues.

Washington State

The Dark Divide is a wonderful area - - or it could be -- if one did not have to dodge motorcycles, worry about meeting them on the many narrow trails, struggle up the rutted trails that they create, and eat some incredible clouds of dust as we have done. Frankly, we go there very little because of the above. It is the largest possible wilderness-potential areal left in Washington state. It derserves that protection.

To find out more and where to write check the WTA site . Also check the Gifford Pinchot Task force site for a picture of the area.
